The point of today’s post being, in this day and age of constantly being inundated with negative media stories, negative co-workers, negative work environments, negative family members, a negative spouse, etc…it has become more and more challenging for all of us to protect our mental and emotional wellbeing.  And when we are constantly feeling these negative emotions that are triggered by these negative energies then we are depressing our immune system and ultimately setting ourselves up for increased risk of sickness and disease!

So the solution as I see it is to be proactive about protecting what you allow into your mental space, start a meditation practice, consume positive content to start and end your day (book, article, video, etc.) and make it a habit to laugh every single day!!!!  In other words, make your ‘Mental Health Workouts’ just as important, if not more important as your ‘Physical Health Workouts’!
