On Feb 23, 2019 I suffered what at first appeared to be a stroke, quickly losing control of my arms and legs and experiencing intense pain. After a mountain of tests in the hospital, finally a neurologist found a lesion in my upper spinal cord and told me that I had a very rare autoimmune disorder called Transverse Myelitis. I left the hospital after a week able to walk but just barely. Over the course of the next 4 years my muscles and nerves degenerated leaving me in bed 3 days out of the week.
A nurse practitioner mentioned to me that I should try Genesis Medical since they had such good results with improving the health and mobility of sufferers like myself. I did, and they did! I started their intensive Body in Balance program on September 13, 2022 and today October 21 I walk quickly, without a pronounced limp, have little to no rigidity and spasticity and have not been stuck in bed for a full day for two weeks. I feel so blessed to finally not only have relief but to have met such a wonderful group of people who administer relief.
